  Dimitris Grigorakis is a professional singer, songwriter, and vocal coach from Crete, Greece.With a warm, soulful tone and a distinctive blend of Jazz, Soul, Funk, and Pop, he delivers an authentic and emotionally charged sound in every performance. From intimate acoustic sets to vibrant full-band concerts and large-scale festival stages.

  Dimitris began his musical journey studying at Maestro Music School. He later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Nicosia, specializing in Jazz Voice Performance.

  Since his early university years, he has built a rich performance career across Crete, with additional appearances in Cyprus, performing at hotels, restaurants, festivals, as well as private and cultural events.  He has also collaborated with local municipalities and cultural organizations in Crete, presenting solo concerts and community performances.

Career Highlights:

• Opened the Main Stage of Matala Beach Festival 2025

• Performed at the Presidential Palace of Cyprus (Human Rights Gala 2024)

• Headlined a solo concert at Mithodia Theatre – Rethymno

• Appeared at the Street Food Festival – Heraklion

• Collaborated with the Municipality of Phaistos and other cultural organizations for live events

  In September 2025, Dimitris released his debut original single “Hooked on You”, a modern Pop/R&B track written and composed by himself. Βlending smooth melodies with heartfelt storytelling.
The song showcases his signature vocal tone and expressive delivery, marking the beginning of his journey as a recording artist.

For live performances, Dimitris performs in various setups tailored to each venue and atmosphere:

• Duo: with guitar or piano accompaniment

• Trio: featuring piano and guitar

• Full band: with bass and drums for a richer, groovier sound

  His repertoire moves seamlessly between Jazz standards, Soul classics, Funk grooves, and contemporary Pop, occasionally enriched with select Greek songs.
